Fitness Celebrity John Basedow began working with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital earlier this year and he had the pleasure of appearing at WWYZ Country 92.5's "Quest For The Cure" Radiothon in March 2006. John went live on the radio and donated Fitness Made Simple DVDs to several callers who became "Partners In Hope" for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To be a "Partner In Hope" a caller must pledge a $40/month donation for the period of 1 year to help St. Jude's efforts to find treatments and cures for pediatric cancer.
"I originally got involved with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital because of their commitment to fighting cancer. Many of my family members, including my dad, were taken from my life by various forms of this devastating disease. Through it's tireless efforts, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has taken monumental strides in finding treatments and cures for many types of cancer that were once considered terminable. That is an awesome accomplishment. I feel blessed to be able to support them in any way I can to further their efforts."
- John Basedow
John was also on hand to meet and sign autographs for the many volunteers and pledgers who were there to support St. Jude.

Founded by late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world.
